Since the PVD coating technology is very new for SOPAL, our professional technical support makes us stand out among other PVD machine suppliers. You can never expect how excellent and fantastic of your customer’s team. This is an amazing project! Mr. Tevfik and his team spent 3 days to complete installation and testing of machine in his factory according to the Installation Manual and videos provided by Royal Technology.
Regarding to the training: the team studied our User Manual and Coating Processes saved in program, a perfect deal needs both parties great cooperation, this is the 1st project that our engineer did not onsite, not even an online supervision, customer’s team accomplished it themselves outstandingly.
Conventional gold coatings on glassware are by aluminum vacuum metallization combine the spraying painting line. In 2020, Royal Technology developed an advanced coating technology to generate 2-sides gold colors on glassware directly without spraying painting processes ( pre/post coatings), which is by ion plating technology- arc evaporation.
This coating method is completely get rid of the spraying paintings, environmentally friendly, green technology, besides it reduces the investment of production line and labor cost for manufacturers.
Except glassware, it also be applicable to ceramic, crystal, stone etc. materials.

Due to the Covid19’s epidemic’s outbreak, the customer was unable to do inspections before delivery. Thus, pre-acceptance term changed to be INSPECTION BY samples testing. Abstract
The RTSP1200-PCB machine is a tailor-designed and fabricated equipment for PCBs plating by magnetron sputtering deposition technology.
Everyone who is involved with the PCB industry knows that PCBs which have copper finishes on the surface requires a protective layer to protect it against from oxidize and deteriorate, meanwhile the film must with high hardness and abrasion resistance to guarantee the lifetime.
Royal Technology spent 6 months in R&D, over 20 times experiment to finalized the proper coating processes. More exciting new is in March 2020, we delivered the massive production machine to our customer’s site with a high accomplishment result.

Royal technology team collaborated with our customer to developed the DPC process successfully with PVD sputtering technology since year of 2016.
The DPC process- Direct Plating Copper is an advanced coating technology applied with LED, semiconductor, electronic industries. One typical application is Ceramic Radiating Substrate. Cooper conductive film deposition on Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3), AlN substrates by PVD vacuum sputtering technology, compared with traditional manufacturing methods: DBC LTCC HTCC, much lower production cost is its high feature.

Never too old to learn! It is a well-know saying. Michal’s experience on the PVD exactly shows how talented he is.
Before seeing the machine, he had no any idea or concept what is PVD, how is it working, how to operate the machine.
Michal and Pawel stayed in Royal technology factory only 3 working days to receive the training of operation & maintenance before machine’s delivery.
On the 1st day: to watch Royal’s engineer’s operation of car wheels coating with Aluminum/Chrome and SS targets
On the 2nd day: to learn structure of machine, key components and maintenance, trouble shootings, HMI program pages: vacuum pumps, sputtering cathodes, power supplies, MFC, vacuum gauges etc.
On the 3rd day: to operate the machine himself: vacuum/venting manually and automatically; sputtering deposition manually/ automatically, how to open and close the machine, auto-shutdown the machine etc.
Due to the epidemic’s outbreak becoming a globe serious situation, our Engineer is unable to go to Poland to provide the installation service.
On March 6, 2020, we decided to supervise customer online and assistthem to finish the assemble, testing, commissioning steps.
From 1PM till 5PM, the customer with our engineer’s online instruction & supervision, the machine started
working and made 2 cycles testing.
A very happy and successful cooperation, great thanks to Mr. Pawel and Michael's excellent work, thanks for your completely support and understands.
The most greatest thing is a gratifying result had been achieved because in August of 2020, Michal wrote Email to us and thanked to our good machine :”Zhou, I am rich now, full of $$$ cash in my pockets. The Multi950 machine is a customized multiple functions vacuum deposition system for R&D. With half year’s discussion with Shanghai University’s team leaded by Professor Chen, we finally confirmed the design and configurations to fulfill theirs R&D applications. This system is able to deposit transparent DLC film with PECVD process, hard coatings on tools, and optical film with sputtering cathode. Based on this pilot machine design concept, we have developed 3 other coating systems after then:
